Ramadan Iftar Dinner

The South Shore Multicultural Association is once again so very honoured to host an Iftar dinner. The dinner will be held on March 15, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Bridgewater Fire Hall. Iftar is the meal eaten at sunset to break daily fasting during the holy month of Ramadan.
Ramadan is the holy month in Islam during which Muslims worldwide observe fasting from dawn until sunset, emphasizing spiritual reflection, prayer, and community. It commemorates the month in which the Quran was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad, making it a time for increased devotion and worship. The fasting fosters empathy for the less fortunate, encourages self-discipline, and strengthens one’s faith and connection to God.
