Compost Giveaway

Mark your calendars! On Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. the Lunenburg Community Recycling Centre will be hosting a compost giveaway at its location at 908 Mullock Road in Whynotts Settlement.
Free for residents. Residents must provide their own shovels, gloves, elbow grease, and tarps. You can fill two feed bags of compost per household.
A limited quantity of bags will be available. We strongly encourage all interested in attending to bring your own bags, buckets or totes.
OR
Receive up to a half cubic yard of compost! Bring your trailer — it will be loaded for you.
