TALK LOCAL GOVERNMENT
The Town of Bridgewater and the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg are excited to present two opportunities for you to engage with your locally elected officials in-person next week at two public Talk Local Government sessions.
Council members for both the Town of Bridgewater and the District of Lunenburg will be available to chat with you on:
— Tuesday, June 17, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the lookoff at Pijinuiskaq Park on King Street in Bridgewater. Stop by to ask questions and make suggestions, then stay for the opening night of the 2025 Music on the Riverbank Summer Concert Series! This week’s show features Sharon Rhyno and Truelove Ways, starting at 6:30 p.m.
— Wednesday, June 18, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at South Shore Centre. Councillors will be set up near Tim Hortons and the indoor entrance to Sobey’s. Stop by South Shore Centre for a chat with your locally elected representatives and then stay to shop local!
This is the perfect opportunity to have a conversation about how local government works and issues that are important to you in a relaxed and casual environment.
